Photographing Children

There is definitely an art to capturing children in natural poses, that reflect their young personalities and spontaneity.

Using Props - Bring props for the child to play with, for example, balls, bubbles or for a younger child for example, their favourite teddy ( even if it is not in the shot it may help them to relax!)

Group Shots - Different compositions of the whole family will be taken, instead of just lining everyone up in a row.
